Problem Analysis – The objective of the “problem analysis” is to direct the process to incorporate an idea that has been utilized to solve an analogous problem by asking two simple questions: Which element of the system is in need of improvement? If improved, which element of the system is deteriorated?

Facility condition surveys and project planning – is the crucial role in creating the foundation for the project’s success. In project planning, both the scope and the quality standard of the work are defined. Also an estimate of the costs as well as a preliminary schedule are drawn up.

Preliminary Design – is an important key to time effectiveness, cost effectiveness, and environmental responsibility. By clarifying the parameters of acceptable preliminary design activities, a much wider range of efficiencies can be incorporated as the project changes.

Schematic Design – is an initial design scheme that seeks to define the general scope and conceptual design of the project including scale and relationships between project components.

Design Development – is an approved schematic design to reach a level of completeness that demonstrates the project can be built. It is important to evaluate how systems, material selection, and detailing reflect the schematic design concept. The design team works out detailed coordination issues while enhancing the project, so that major revisions are not needed during construction documentation.

Construction cost estimating – An engineers construction cost estimate gives the client a chance to estimate the cost of the construction and value the contractors cost estimate and compare. A construction cost estimate includes a list of all the various parts of the job with hours, materials, and cost.

Construction bidding and contract administration – During the bidding, the design team answers questions to interpret the design to contractors satisfaction. The design team plays the contract administration position in every project by coordinating and reviewing the formulation and finalization of contracts as required and ensure compliance of appropriate regulations.

Inspection and construction observation – Inspections are the last, most telling opportunity to define the design and confirm successful articulation of the inspection requirements for substantial and final completion.

Equipment and System testing and Commissioning  – The design team witnesses the system testing on a complete, integrated system to evaluate the system’s compliance with its specified requirements.

Operations, maintenance, and construction management – is a formulated plan of training, work practices, and surveillance to maintain and inspect the final product to design teams satisfaction.
